Nonionic Ethoxylated Detergent and Wetting Agent

DeCAL 2165 is a powerful nonionic surfactant which is can be utilized across a wide variety of industries.

1.Typical Properties: 

  • Chemical nature        Nonionic linear primary alcohol ethoxylate
  • Appearance              Colourless liquid
  • pH of 1% solution      7.0
  • Cloud point               50 - 52ºC as a 1% solution
  • Density at 20ºC            0.980g/cm³

2.General properties:

  • Outstanding wetting properties at any temperature and over a wide pH range.
  • Highly Biodegradable, 72%w/w oxygen demand, 5 day bottle test.
  • Stable to acids and alkalis.
  • Compatible with nonionic, anionic and cationic species.
  • Easily pourable.
  • Readily soluble in excess water.
  • Good cold storage characteristics.
